Kuala Lumpur

So from here on out on our trip, I stopped journaling, so bear with me as I go through everything buried deep in my memory. After arriving in Kuala Lumpur via the bus, we jumped in a taxi to get to our hotel downtown.  As we were driving there I was amazed by the large buildings and structures which were so different from the countryside of Cameron Highlands.

We only stayed for one night in our hotel but while there Carson took a moment to work on some more school work.

We had an open style 2 room suite which was really neat.

After a good night's rest, we ventured out to explore the city.  We knew the biggest place that we wanted to visit was the Petronas Towers. While taking in the view, we stopped for a snack.

And then we played with the Petronas Towers!

Then a couple guys walked by and wanted pictures with Oliver (we got this a lot on the trip...and sometimes people would want pictures with both boys).

It was nice of the guys to take a picture of our family in exchange for a picture with Oliver!

After the Petronas Towers fun we decided to wander toward a green area that looked lovely.  When we rounded a corner we stumbled upon the mother of all playgrounds.  This thing had play set after play set for as far we could see (well maybe to the those tall buildings in the back). This was the KL City Centre Park.  If it wasn't so hot, we could have spent the rest of the day here before our next bus ride out of the city!
