Some days our lives are boringly plain and some days our lives are packed with so much adventure that picking one photo to post as our daily photo is impossible! Today is one of those later days. So I just have to post 2 photos. We had to run to the mall again today to get the final things we need for an upcoming wedding. One photo shows Carson all set with his suit. The second shows Carson and his pumpkin plant. This evening we moved Carson's pumpkin plant that he started at school into a larger container. It would be ideal to plant it in the backyard but I am not sure it would survive. So for now it will go on our balcony and see how it does.

Today was a busy day. Carson had his first soccer game, then we went to the mall to do some final shopping for an upcoming wedding we are attending in TN in a couple weeks. After that we rushed to Carson's swim lessons then had dinner with friends. Now we are catching up on an 80's movie classic, Real Genius.

This is what excitement looks like in Concord. They carried our neighbor away in the ambulance but she was talking with everyone so hopefully she is ok.

Visited the dentist today! Carson and I both got a clean bill of health, toothbrushes, and toys!

Today was free burrito day at Moes for FSU students! The Wildlife Club that I am secretary of sponsored the event and in return Moes is giving our club 10% of their sales next week when students come in and eat there.

Spring is here!! The weather has been lovely in New England and at 7pm it is still light outside!

Today was the start of soccer season with Carson's 1st practice.

Woke up at 4:45 this morning to go out to the Connecticut River with Mass Wildlife and stock the river with baby salmon.  This is what I want to do when I get done with school so it was well worth waking up early!

We found out today that Carson is going to have a little brother!

Today is the actual 273rd anniversary of the start of the American Revolutionary War! On my way to school brave volunteers were making their way from neighboring towns to Concord just as they would have 273 years ago when they heard the British were invading.(of course there wouldn't have been a police escort or such nice roads for them to walk on!)

I am often reminded of what a great community we live in. Our grounds crew and maintenance are the best you can get. What other townhouse community shovels snow off your balcony or paints the eves of the homes every spring?

Carson is going to an art camp this week. As yesterday was a holiday today was his first day. He loves the opportunity to draw, paint, and sculpt!

This evening we went to an event at my school where we had the chance to see lots of not your average animals. Carson got to hold an alligator, python, and a skunk. I will get photos of the animal holding posted later.

Happy Patriot's Day from New England! We got to go back in time today and see what the American Revolution was all about. Carson also got a hair cut today-we call it his spring cut.

It was a beautiful day in the Boston area today. I managed to squeeze in a couple rounds of tennis with the boys then while I studied at a park bench they played at the park. We are ending the day by BBQing and playing a little Xbox. Well the boys are playing while I squeeze in a little more study time.

Carson lost a 2nd tooth this morning although it is hard to tell because his big boy teeth are coming in just as quick as he lost his first 2 teeth!

We had dinner tonight with friends then the dads and the kids went to see The Lorax at the theater.  Later we played a new expansion of Settlers of Catan, Traders and Barbarians!

Today was Carson's first day of tennis lessons!

I was going to write this post to complain about paying pennies under 4 dollars a gallon for gas but then the New Kids on the Block came on the radio and I lost all my crankiness!

Today is book character parade day at Carson's school. The kids get to dress up as a character from their favorite book. Carson's favorite series right now is Henry and Mudge which is a beginning chapter book.

The boys ate monster burgers left over from Easter while I was out of commission with a migraine.

Carson is getting good at on the spot faces when I whip out my camera for this blog.  Not sure what his face means!

Carson had today off from school as it is Good Friday so he came to school with me. He came to two of my classes then we ate lunch and went to a study group for an exam I have next week. I am not sure how I keep having all these exams week after week! But I am ready for my finals and for this semester to be done! T-minus 4 more weeks!

Saw the orthodontist today. I have 2 more trays left in my treatment but my Dr wants to extend my treatment to straighten out at least one of my teeth a little more.

Happy Monday! We were all tired today from our busy weekend. We all made it through our respective day though so hopefully we can catch up on rest tonight. Last week in Molecular Bio lab we started Genetics. Today we got to view our results which consisted of playing with DNA from e-coli. Amazingly I got something to grow as you can see by the blue colonies in the petri dish!

Today was a busy day in the Enes household!  Carson had 2 birthday parties and we had planned on an Easter Egg Hunt but the latter got cut because the 2 parties were more than enough to wipe us out.  Pictures are from the first party of the day.  It was a construction theme so there was an outside obstacle course the kids had to complete and the kids built bat houses.  The last picture you see is Carson being silly.  He thought it was funny that his hair would stand up when he picked his hat up slightly off his head!

Mar 31st

Carson and Andrew designed a cake to be entered into a school contest and won 1st prize in their category!  The boys had a ton of fun designing and making the cake.  And yes both of them have orange or red coloring in their hair.  That was their skunk stripe from the festival where the cake contest was.  The boys had fun playing games, eating cotton candy, and seeing all their friends at this festival.
